A Vintage “Weather” Inspired Baby Shower

Maureen is expecting a beautiful baby boy, so to celebrate her special delivery, her friends and family came together in Maryland to throw her a lovely vintage-inspired baby shower. But, they took the theme one adorable baby step further, taking a cue from the “shower” to incorporate a “weather” theme as well! Photographer Anne Herbert, who captured the theme and bundle of joy of the day beautifully, shared that, “Maureen, the mother to be, is such a sweet girl. She enjoyed the gathering of family and friends and was simply radiant.”
The décor of the baby shower was as cute as can be, and certainly had a creative flair making it unique and memorable. The rustic chic scene was set with props from Rusty Love Vintage Rentals, including barn wood tables topped with mason jars filled with pretty white and blue floral arrangements from Richardson’s Florist. Vintage scales, red wagons and coca-cola and 7-up boxes added to the overall old-timey feel, and a beautiful blue frame from The Organic Bloom were placed above the blue and yellow-themed candle baby shower favors that featured sayings like “Special Delivery” and “So Precious.” A yellow frame also graced the wall in the dining area, surrounding a sign that read, “…that’s what little boys are made of,” over jars labeled “snails” and “puppy dog tails.” Such a super-cute touch!
A basket labeled “Read to me” was created for guests to place their book gifts, and a custom cake was baked up by Flavor Cupcakery for all of the guests to enjoy a sweet little something before the sweet little baby boy arrived!
A wonderful attention to detail and thoughtful vintage inspired props make this precious baby shower one to remember. Thank you to Anne Herbert Photography for sharing!
