Wedding Colors: Simply Elegant Black and White

Some girls can picture every detail of their wedding from about the age of 6, the rest of us need a little more inspiration. One of the most important design elements for your event is the color choice. It really does set the tone. Pastels are fun and flirty while deep jewel tones are rich and elegant. For a simple yet sophisticated wedding you may want to consider decorating with black and white. The cake show above is from I Dream of Cake. This is one of their more simple cakes but I think it really shows that you don’t need to go overboard to make an impact.

What could be more elegant than the ebony and ivory of a grand piano, miniature style. These black and white place cards would work really well at such an event.
