A Metallic Gold Wedding Theme

The inspiration for this theme came from Fashion Week. We’ve learned that the trend of infusing metallic colors with traditional wedding dress designs will be strong for Fall 2010. So we got to thinking how we would compliment such a bold wedding dress statement with accessories and decor for the event.

The first image featured above is definitely one of the coolest table markers I’ve ever come across. Ideal for an evening event, these luminaries by Simply FKJ will light the way for your guests and add a little ambiance too!

When it comes to weddings, I’m a big fan of fascinators and birdcage veils. I just love the vintage appeal! The one pictured above is from Pin Me Up Couture.

The invites chosen for this theme are unique in that each one arrives wrapped in a luxurious gold fabric. What a great way to set the tone for a black tie event. Invites can be found at Adorned by Dana.
