The daisy is an often overlooked wedding flower choice because of its simplicity and availability. Many brides will opt for a more exotic or rare flower, but we would urge them to give the daisy another look. It really can be quite stunning and offers a variety of color options (from the traditional white and yellow – to the vast array of colors in the gerbera daisy). Yes, the daisy offers all this – and at a fraction of the cost of its more ‘exotic’ counterparts.
If the daisy is your flower of choice, you don’t have to be limit their use in bouquets and centerpieces. There are plenty of ways that you can use daisies in your wedding from the wedding invitations to the wedding favors.
Here are a couple of ideas to help you decorate your daisy themed wedding:
Daisy up your gifts – Take a wicker basket and glue fake daisy flowers around the edges. Fill the basket up with wedding favors and you have a cute decoration to put on your gift table. You can even find daisy themed favors to send your guests off with subtle reminders of your special day.
An inexpensive daisy centerpiece – Take a small silver watering can and fill it up with a bunch of daisy flowers. This is a unique centerpiece that all your wedding guests will be talking about. You can also find plenty of daisy themed wedding favors and place card holders to use at your wedding.
Unique daisy decor – There are some really unique pieces out there that can help make your wedding really stand out from the rest. We just love this daisy ring-bearer pillow (shown below) available at Creations 4 Brides.

One thing to remember with a daisy-themed wedding is to not go too overboard with the daisies. You want to add subtle hints here and there and then have a only a few bold items that have daisies on them.

I get excited when i receive wedding invitations. sometimes i also make customized wedding invitations.*-`
